Paramore - The Only Exception

When I was younger I saw my daddy cry

and curse at the wind.

He broke his own heart and I watched

as he tried to reassemble it.

And my momma swore

that she would never let herself forget.

And that was the day that I promised

I'd never sing of love if it does not exist.

But Darling,

You are the only exception.

You are the only exception.

You are the only exception.

You are the only exception.

Maybe I know somewhere

deep in my soul

that love never lasts.

And we've got to find other ways

to make it alone.

Keep a straight face.

And I've always lived like this

keeping a comfortable distance.

And up until now I had sworn to myself

that I'm content with loneliness.

Because none of it was ever worth the risk.

Well you are the only exception.

You are the only exception.

You are the only exception.

You are the only exception.

You are the only exception.

I've got a tight grip on reality,

but I can't let go of what's in front of me here.

I know you're leaving in the morning

when you wake up.

Leave me with some kind of proof its not a dream.

You are the only exception.

You are the only exception.

You are the only exception.

You are the only exception.

You are the only exception.

You are the only exception.

You are the only exception.

You are the only exception.

I'm on my way to believing

And I'm on my way to believing

Dark Of The Moon.
Stay tuned to paramore.net for more details!
This soundtrack will be released on June 7th.
Paramore will be the second track on the record
with the song called – Monster

Liriknya nih:

You were my conscience
So solid now you're like water
And we started drowning
Not like we'd sink any farther
But I let my heart go
It's somewhere down at the bottom
But I'll get a new one
And come back from the hope that you've stolen

I'll stop the whole world, I'll stop the whole world
From turning into a monster, and eating us alive
Don't you ever wonder how we survive?
Well, now that you're gone the world is ours

I'm only human
I've got a skeleton in me
But I'm not the villain
Despite what you're always preaching
Call me a traitor
I'm just collecting your victims
And they're getting stronger
I hear them calling, and calling

I'll stop the whole world, I'll stop the whole world
From turning into a monster, and eating us alive
Don't you ever wonder how we survive?
Well, now that you're gone the world is ours

Well, you thought of straight big solutions
But I like the tension
And not always knowing the answers
But you're gonna lose it
You're gonna lose it

I'll stop the whole world, I'll stop the whole world
From turning into a monster, and eating us alive
Don't you ever wonder how we survive?
Well, now that you're gone the world
I'll stop the whole world, I'll stop the whole world
From turning into a monster, and eating us alive
Don't you ever wonder how we survive?
Well, now that you're gone the world is ours
